New Payment Options

We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards, however please note the following surcharges which we have to make:

  • All Online transactions, using either Credit or Debit Card will incur a 2% fee on the total amount.
  • Visa & Mastercard - 2%
  • American Express - 4% (Not available for Online Transactions)
  • We accept bank transfers.
  • Please note that we do not take ANY form of card payment over the phone.

Please note that when paying by Credit Card you are covered by your insurance. If you have any concerns please contact your Credit Card company for more details.

We can also accept Cheques, however the Cheque has to clear before we will dispatch the Watch to you. Please call us to discuss this option in more detail. We accept Balance Transfers (Wire) and Bankers Drafts. Please allow 2 days for funds to be cleared and for administration and security checks to be carried out. Please speak to a member of our sales team for more details.

Due to our company policy we do not accept cash over £9000.

Order Process - Offline

Please call us, 0208 994 4657 or email our sales team, sales@watches.co.uk, who will explain the options for all offline orders.

Orders processed by 2pm will be given priority for next day delivery dependant upon satisfactory security checks being completed.

Order Process - Online

We use Barclays Verified by Visa & Mastercard secure code for secure online transactions. A unique password is sent to you via email which enables you to access the Barclays secure online order form, enter your credit card or debit card details. The purchase limit for online transactions is at our discretion. Please contact us for more information. Email: sales@watches.co.uk.

There is a 2% charge for all online transactions. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express online.

We process all orders in line with Barclays Merchant Services Guidelines for Fraud Prevention.

Delivery

We send all Watches out by Royal Mail Special Delivery, for delivery Monday to Saturday. The standard cost of delivery is £10 for all UK delivery addresses which includes all packaging and insurance. The delivery will arrive the following day by 1pm (we can not take responsibilty for delivery problems with the Royal Mail) the parcel has to be signed for by the purchaser. We can also offer Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed before 9am. The cost of this is dependant upon your order but is usually around £20. Please call us for more details. If you have not received an item please call us for your tracking number and click on the Royal Mail logo below. Watch Winders will cost £20 for delivery and will be sent by a 48 hours Parcelforce service.

We only dispatch watches to UK & Northern Ireland postal addresses. We are unable to dispatch to mainland Europe (including Southern Ireland) or the United States. For your security delivery can only be made to the cardholders address.

Guarantee

We offer a seven day money back guarantee on every pre-owned Watch that we send out mail order unless otherwise stated. All Unworn and Pre-owned watches come with a 12 month guarantee from The Swiss Watch Co. unless stated otherwise.

The watches movement is covered under our 12 month warranty. SWC's warranty does not apply to damage done by inappropriate use or miss treatment of your watch. The warranty does not extend to the bracelets, cases or watch glasses, nor does it cover any damage done to the case and the movement by water or moisture entering the watch because of a handling error.

Our Vintage watches also come with a 12 month warranty.

Please note that the purchaser is liable for all delivery/shipping costs incurred. Delivery is non-refundable. We do not cover accidental damage or loss. Warranties issued by the Swiss Watch Company are not transferable under any circumstances.

Pricing Information and Web Content

All of the information in regard to watches on our site, such as retail prices, Model Nos etc is correct to the best of our knowledge. Should you notice that anything is incorrect please contact us to let us know so we can put it right. These details are updated reguarly but are subject to change without notification. Retail Prices on our New Tag Heuer and Omega pages are subject to change in accordance with current catalogue prices. When a model is discontinued price stated is an estimate of todays equivilant value.

Please note that when using the Currency Converter all Prices are at time of use and subject to change. The Currency Converter is operated externally by http://www.xe.com

If you recieve mail from us that you have not requested please let us know.

Complaints

If you have reason to complain about our service then please call our Sales Team on 020 8994 4567 and we will endeavour to help you and sort out any grievances you have to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order securely and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Should you recieve any mail from us that you have not requested please email us with the email title "unsubscribe" and you will receive no further corespondance from us. The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • address
  • phone number

  • credit / debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. Please note that the Swiss Watch Co. accepts no responsibility for work and repairs carried out by the Swiss Watch Service Centre on watches NOT brought from us. All watches purchased from us carry a full 1 year guarantee unless specified when purchased.

I knew the Breitling watch I wanted, and had looked at buying new, But a friend recommended the pre-owned market. I saw the watch on this site and because its quite a bit of money decided to go to their offices to see the watch. They happily made an appointment, saw me on time, had the watch ready which was almost perfect. I paid in cash and they pointed out I had paid £50 to much when it went through the note counter. This is a good honest business and I would use them again. The watch is truly lovely and I am a happy buyer.
