This example represents one of the most iconic pilot’s chronographs ever created, embodying over seven decades of aviation heritage and technical innovation. Introduced in 1952, the Navitimer quickly became an indispensable instrument for pilots thanks to its distinctive circular slide rule bezel, capable of performing a range of airborne calculations. At its heart is the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, a self-winding chronograph movement entirely developed and produced in-house. Renowned for its exceptional reliability, precision and robust construction, the calibre features an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

Reference AB0121211G1A1 is distinguished by its highly legible silver dial featuring contrasting black chronograph sub-dials, applied hour markers and a date aperture between 4/5 o’clock. The iconic bidirectional beaded bezel incorporates Breitling’s famous circular aviation slide rule, a hallmark of the Navitimer collection and a defining feature that has cemented its status among aviation enthusiasts and collectors alike. The balanced tri-compax chronograph layout ensures outstanding readability while preserving the unmistakable character of this legendary pilot’s watch.

The substantial stainless steel Navitimer case measures 43mm and is fitted to a matching stainless steel bracelet, enhancing the watch’s refined sporting character while ensuring excellent comfort on the wrist. The dial is protected by a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, while the sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view of the beautifully engineered Manufacture Calibre 01. The robust case construction provides water resistance to 30 metres / 100 feet.
