Introduced by Rolex to the market in 1956, the Day-Date quickly became the flagship model in the Rolex range. Made popular by US Presidents such as Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford, it earned the nickname of the "President" after the style of bracelet.

Timeless, elegant design that has stood the test of time, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date is only crafted in gold or platinum. This watch features an 18ct yellow gold 36mm case with fluted bezel, crisp white dial with day and date display, golden roman numeral hour markers, in house chronometer rated automatic movement and is fitted with an 18ct yellow gold presidential link bracelet.

The watch was originally purchased in November 1990 and supplied in Mint condition, the watch comes supplied with the original inner leather box, outer cardboard box, calendar card, swing tag, service receipt from September 2011, instruction manual and warranty certificate. This watch has only been worn on a few special occasions over its life, it is one of the best ones we have seen for its age.
