A definitive design with the Rolex family of timepieces, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller is rooted in the aquatic, marine and deep-sea diving industries. Designed as a tougher and high-performance variant of the Submariner, the sea dweller was a joint effort between Rolex, COMEX and the US Navy SEALABS to adapt the submariner into a watch that would be suited for deep sea diving.

Boasting an impressive water-resistance of 1220m, the watch features a classic black dial with date, luminous hour markers, stainless steel case and bracelet, luminous hands with a black unidirectional diving bezel. Although designed with functionality in mind, the classic styling of this watch makes it a perfect watch that can easily be worn daily as well and at the depths of the ocean.

Originally purchased circa 1997, U serial, this watch comes supplied with the original inner and outer boxes, Rolex tool, instruction manual, calendar card, Buehlmann table card, Rolex service and original guarantee certificate.
