The Rolex Submariner can easily be described as one of Rolex's most famous designs and is considered one of the most iconic watches ever created. This is the sought after 1680 model originally purchased circa 1978, this era of Rolex Submariner has become increasingly collectable and rare over the years.

The watch is presented with a brushed and polished steel case and oyster bracelet and features a matte black dial with date aperture, luminous hour markers all of which have aged beautifully and a stainless steel bezel fitted with a Rolex black bezel insert with pip to complete the look.

The watch comes supplied in Mint condition considering its age and comes with a green Rolex pouch and SWC authenticity card.

I purchased two Rolex watches with the intention of investment: (A 1978 1680 and a 1979 Air King 5700). I knew very little about the Rolex watch, and spent some time deliberating and researching as to what to buy. Tim and Jonathan were both very helpful over separate phone calls, when assurance and advice was needed to make sure I was making the right choice and decision. On my visit, Jonathan was highly professional, down-to-earth and an expert in his field.
