Since the brands inception in 1845 Lange has been producing time-keeping devices of the highest quality. In 1948 after the war, the company had ceased to exist as it was known and it wasn’t until after the fall of the Berlin wall in 1990 that the brand was re-established by the great grandson of Ferdinand Adolphe Lange. It has since gone from strength to strength, building on its heritage from Glashütte emphasising quality and design in every piece. In 1994 the Saxonia collection was launched and its design focuses entirely on essentials: the sleek contours of the case frame the perfectly legible dial.

This version the reference 215.029 is set in a 37mm solid 18ct white gold case with a smooth polished bezel. The dial is a deep black colour and is fitted with contrasting white gold baton hour markers (double at 12/3/6/9) and the traditional ‘spear’ handset. It also has a running second hand at the 6 o’clock sub-dial and it is protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass. The watch is powered by the Lange calibre L941.1 manual wind mechanism, which is visible through an exhibition caseback. It comes fitted on an after market blue leather strap with the Lange white gold pin buckle.

Originally purchased in March 2008 and in mint condition, this Saxonia comes with its original instruction booklet and international warranty booklet.
