A lovely example of the ever popular Rolex GMT Master II. This watch benefits from still having the Rolex manufacturers warranty until August 2014. Originally purchased from Wagner Jewellers in Austria,the watch is supplied complete with orignal box and papers.
The Rolex GMT was originally designed in partnership with Pan Am Airways and issued to crew on the long haul flights. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time and the watch was unique at the time as it enabled flight crews to read different time zones at a glance.The current 116710 GMT Master II watches were introduced in 2007 incorporating a number of technical changes from its predecessor, the 16710. These included the Parachrom hairspring, for better timekeeping, a more robust bracelet and clasp. Most notable was the introduction of the scratch and fade resistant ceramic bezel.
