Highlights The Bremont ALT1-Z Zulu Chinook Limited Edition was designed specifically for qualified and serving military CH47 Chinook RAF helicopter pilots and crew serving in Afghanistan.It is part of a strictly limited edition production of only 50 timepieces and designed for top aviators and world travellers in mind. Z stands for Zulu Time and allows the wearer to display local time together with the official world time standard, Universal Time Coordinated UTC, Greenwich Mean Time GMT, or even Zulu time.Designed specially to reference the vintage MilSubs, Bremont produced this model in a limited run of 50 watches, which were only available to serving RAF Chinook helicopter pilots. Of that 50, just 30 were made in stainless steel.The dial features a Chinook helicopter hovering over the 3-handed subdials, which form the dual rotors of the helicopter. The numeral 4 on the face has been redesigned to read CH-47, and the rotor, which is visible through the case back, has 6 cut-outs in the shape of the Chinook rotor blades.This watch was worn whilst the original owner was serving in Afghanistan, it was flown on a couple of medevac missions.Its super luminova coated hands, specially designed domed anti reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, and 42hr power reserve, all make for a highly functional asset. Inside the case is an impeccably designed 25 jewel movement complete with Glucydur balance and Anachron balance spring. The mainspring is the Nivaflex 1 that produces 28800bph.Supplied as a complete set, this ALT1-Z Zulu is supplied with the original leather presentation holder, instruction manual and warranty card.
