      • The Omega Speedmaster Limited Edition 125 is a very unique and special watch. Made in 1973, it was produced as a commemorative watch to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Omega company. The movement nor the case was never used by Omega in any other model. There are a number of firsts associated with this watch. This special watch was the first chronograph - chronometer ever offered for sale by any manufacturer to the public. In order to do this a special movement was made which was a unique version of the calibre 1040. This special movement was constructed by a team of craftsmen rather than assembled on a normal production line. Only 2000 of these watches were ever made. However unlike more recent limited edition Omegas, no engraving can be seen on the case back stating the limited editon number. This Speedmaster is also the largest Speedmaster ever to be made. The dimensions of the watch are 42mm case diameter(39mm bezel to bezel), 52mm lug to lug and is 15mm high - a truly imposing watch! This watch is undoubtedly the best example we have ever come across. It can only be described as mint condition, the dial,case and bracelet are flawless. It has been maintained to the highest standard by Omega/Swatch Group UK. All service receipts are included.
