We are proud to present this stylish Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph watch for sale in mint recently serviced condition.
The Royal Oak is considered to be the most popular watch that Audemars Piguet currently manufactures, and was first introduced at the 1972 Baselworld. Designed by Gerald Genta, who is also responsible for designing other iconic timepieces, it is considered to be the first luxury sports watch. The watch was inspired by the portholes found on boats and features exposed screw heads as well as unique case design and an integrated link bracelet.
Well regarded and coveted around the globe for its assured and confident aesthetic, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak combines bold design choices with exquisite craftsmanship.
This timepiece is crafted in a robust 39mm stainless steel case fitted with the iconic Genta octagonal "porthole" bezel with 8 screws, showcasing a Silver-toned panda dial with “Grande Tapisserie” pattern. The dial features triple sub-dials at 3/6/9 for the chronograph function and running seconds, with minute track accented in red to match the chronograph seconds hand as well as the tips of the sub-dial hands. Lastly this is completed by luminous indices and hands as well as a date aperture between 4/5 o'clock. Powered by an in-house automatic calibre 2385 movement and presented on the iconic integrated stainless steel link bracelet with dual folding clasp.
The watch was originally purchased circa 2009 and supplied in mint condition, supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction manual, Audemars Piguet service documentation (May 2023), as well as its warranty and authentication booklet.
This Royal Oak benefits from the coverage of its Audemars Piguet Service warranty until May 2025.
