The Fifty Fathoms collection embodies Blancpain’s passion for the underwater world that was originally expressed in 1953 with the creation of the first modern diver’s watch. The Fifty Fathoms range began as diving watches designed especially for the Frogmen of the French army, and boasting water resistance to 1000 feet.

Earning its name derived from its water resistance rating the 50 Fathom ( a fathom equals 6 feet in depth) has a anti-magnetic steel case, unidirectional black ceramic time lapse bezel,black dial with off set date window, Arabic hour markers at 3,6,9,and 12 and is fitted with black sail canvas strap to complete its look.

Sold originally in August 2021 and supplied in a mint condition and supplied in the original Blancpain black Peli case with the warranty card, instruction manual, leather wallet containing the service booklet, divers logbook, swing tag.
