Originally introduced in 1984, the Chronomat was designed as a robust tool watch for the Frecce Tricolori aerobatics flight team, embodying Breitling's commitment to precision and reliability. Over the years, it has evolved into a symbol of adventure and excellence, favoured by pilots and enthusiasts alike. With its distinctive bezel rider tabs, chronograph functionality, and sturdy construction, the Chronomat exudes a bold and distinctive aesthetic while maintaining its status as a versatile timepiece suitable for any occasion. This iteration of the Chronomat, reference AB0134101C1A1 comes set in a brushed 42mm stainless steel case fitted with a uni-directional dive bezel with 15 minute rider graduations. Its blue sunburst dial features contrasting black sub dials, as well as luminous indexes and hands, with the date aperture at 6 o'clock. These details are protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and driven by the in-house automatic Breitling calibre B01 chronograph movement, which can be viewed through its exhibition caseback. Its 20atm (200m/660ft) water resistance is ensured by its screwdown crown, with the watch completed by a black rubber strap with matching Breitling deployment clasp. However, this watch is also sold with its original stianless steel bracelet which is in unworn condition and is not currently fitted to the watch. 

Originally old in November 2021 and in mint condition with only very fine marks present on the polished bezel. Supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, guarantee manual, leather warranty holder, swing tag, spare blue rubber strap, deployment clasp, 2025 Breitling service documents and original international warranty card.

This Chronomat was serviced by Breitling in March 2025 and hasn't been worn since, as well as still benefiting from the coverage of its manufacturer warranty until November 2026.
