The modern Chronomat remains one of Breitling’s most versatile sports watches, blending the collection’s signature rider-tab bezel, rouleaux bracelet and strong everyday wearability with a clean, contemporary case profile. This Six Nations Ireland edition was released as part of Breitling’s partnership with Six Nations Rugby, with each men’s Chronomat GMT 40 made in a limited run of 250 pieces, celebrating the identity of each union through distinct dial colours and engraved casebacks.

This Irish edition is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case and features the Chronomat’s signature unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel, easy-grip onion crown and classic stainless steel rouleaux bracelet. The standout feature is its rich green dial, textured with alternating matte and horizontal brushed finishes inspired by the stripes of a rugby field, giving the watch a bolder and more characterful look than a standard Chronomat GMT. The dial is framed by a 24-hour chapter ring for the GMT function, with a date aperture at 6 o’clock, while the specially engraved caseback marks the watch as “ONE OF 250” and carries the Irish team identity.

Powering the watch is the Breitling calibre 32, a self-winding mechanical GMT movement that allows tracking of a second time zone via a 24-hour hand.
