Since its debut in 1952, the Breitling Navitimer has stood as one of the most iconic chronographs in watchmaking, celebrated for its distinctive circular slide rule bezel and its deep-rooted connection to aviation. Originally conceived as a practical instrument for pilots, the Navitimer has long been admired for blending technical purpose with unmistakable design. Over the decades, it has evolved beyond the cockpit to become one of Breitling’s most recognisable and enduring models, prized by collectors and enthusiasts alike for its rich heritage, mechanical excellence, and strong visual identity.

This special edition, created in partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team, brings a more performance-driven and contemporary character to the Navitimer formula. Limited to just 1,959 pieces, a nod to the year Aston Martin first entered Formula 1, this model combines race-inspired detailing with over seventy years of Navitimer history. While the watch remains unmistakably a Navitimer, the use of lightweight materials and motorsport-led design cues gives it a sharper, more modern edge.

This example is housed in a 43mm titanium case, giving it a noticeably lighter feel on the wrist while preserving the strong profile expected of the collection. The watch features the signature bidirectional beaded slide rule bezel, a hallmark of the Navitimer line, and is fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides for clarity and durability. The standout dial is crafted in carbon fibre, inspired by the materials and visual language of modern Formula 1 machinery, and is paired with the classic tri-compax chronograph layout, a date aperture at 6 o’clock, and details that subtly reflect the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team identity. Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition caseback and a specially developed matte-black rotor bearing the Aston Martin Aramco logo.

Powering the watch is the renowned Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding chronograph movement celebrated for its precision, robustness, and refinement. Offering an approximate 70-hour power reserve, this in-house calibre further reinforces the model’s blend of performance and prestige. Completing the watch is an anthracite calfskin leather strap secured by a titanium folding clasp, giving the piece a purposeful yet luxurious finish.

Originally purchased in June 2026, this watch is supplied as a full set with its original box with outer sleeve, warranty card booklet, and swing tag.
