The Superocean defines the classic dive watch and was created by Breitling in 1957 for professional and military divers, but it immediately developed a following among leisure divers and watch enthusiasts who wanted an everyday watch which can go almost anywhere.
The Superocean Heritage Ocean Conservancy Limited Edition comes with a strong message: alongside the Ocean Conservancy organization, Breitling wishes to lead the fight against ocean pollution. The blue details on this 1000-piece limited edition reiterate Breitling’s commitment to healthy oceans and clean beaches, and Breitling is partnering with Ocean Conservancy to support its conservation efforts. The two single-piece straps accompanying this chronograph are made from ECONYL® yarn, an innovative material repurposed from nylon waste, while its packaging comes from 100% recycled material. A watch made for action, the type that meaningfully impacts lives.
The watch is fitted with a silver sunburst dial with steel baton hour markers with luminescent dots, day/date aperture, three sub-dials and the 44mm stainless steel case is fitted with a matching blue bezel. The watch is water-resistant to an impressive 20atm (200m/660ft), and comes fitted on a limited edition blue nato strap specifically made for this watch secured with a classic breitling pin buckle clasp. Powered by a chronometer rated automatic chronograph movement and supplied with an addition blue Breitling Nato strap.
Originally purchased in June 2020 and in mint condition, the watch comes supplied with the original inner and outer boxes, travel case, instruction manual, chronometer certificate and international warranty card.
