In 1989 the watchmakers at the Cartier workshop in the USA went about remodelling the original Cartier Tank for American audiences, the new watch features an elongated case with a more pronounced curve than the original model. It playfully updates the geometry of the lines, retaining the rectangular form while alternating between round edges and angles. 

This reference, the 2482 is a beautiful and elegantly crafted ladies timepiece from Cartier. It comes set in a polished 19mm x 34.5mm solid 18ct yellow gold case with a fully diamond set bezel (top, bottom and sides). The dial is the classic white/cream colour with printed black lacquered Roman numeral hour markers  and blue-steel hands and a date at 6 o’clock. The watch features a flat curved sapphire crystal glass, is powered by a quartz mechanism and comes fitted with a matching solid 18ct yellow gold link bracelet with a concealed dual folding clasp.

Originally purchased in October 2013 and is in fine condition (light marks on case), this Tank Americaine comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet and international warranty booklet. This watch is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC from the date of sale.
