The Cartier Panthère is one of the most iconic symbols in the maison’s rich history, embodying both elegance and fierce femininity. Its origins date back to the early 20th century, when Louis Cartier first introduced the panther motif—an idea brought to life by Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier’s legendary creative director known as “La Panthère.” The motif evolved from art deco illustrations into a full-fledged jewelry and watch collection, with the Panthère de Cartier watch debuting in the 1980s. With its sleek bracelet and bold yet graceful design, the Panthère became a defining piece of the decade and continues to be a timeless emblem of Cartier’s bold, feline spirit.

This iteration of the Panthére, reference W25014B9 / 1060 comes set in an 18ct yellow gold 37mm x 27.5mm case fitted with a smooth polished bezel. Its silver opaline dial features black printed Roman numeral hour indexes and the iconic blued steel hands, as well as a date aperture at 3 o'clock. These details are protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass and powered by a Swiss quartz movement, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Lastly, the watch is completed by a fully polished 18ct yellow gold bracelet, secured with a concealed butterfly clasp. 

Originally sold in the early 1990's and in fine condition for its age due to light wear on the case and bracelet, supplied with its original red inner Cartier box, red booklet sleeve, instruction booklet, service centre manual and international warranty booklet. 

This Panthère is sold with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
