The ‘Ronde Louis Cartier’ was born around 1937 and is a creation by the maestro Mr Louis Cartier himself. The elegant and “modern-looking” timepiece found its way to a discriminating clientele and was always build in small production runs. It sets itself apart from the traditional cartier square models for which it is better known and brings another element to this prestigious brand.

Introduced in 2009, the Ronde Solo is composed of a design that is borrowed from the preceding Ronde Louis Cartier timepieces, which feature a circular dial, blued sword-shaped hands, and a rail-track minute circle.

This version the W6700255 comes set in a contemporary 36mm slim stainless steel case with a smooth polished bezel and short, rounded lugs. The dial is a clean matte silver colour and features large Roman numeral hour markers, black printed minute track and 24-hour numerals. The watch has classic blue steel hands to finish the dial off and is protected by a sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by a Cartier quartz mechanism which is protected by a solid caseback. It comes fitted on a black Cartier leather strap with matching polished deployment clasp.

Originally purchased in July 2008 and in mint condition, this Cartier comes complete with its original inner (no inner cushion) & outer boxes, instruction booklet, Cartier DVD and international warranty booklets.
