We are proud to present this iconic Cartier Santos de Cartier for sale in mint condition.

Some may not know this, but the Santos was the first collection ever produced by Mr Louis Cartier in 1904 (13 years before the Tank!). Stemming from his relationship with his aviator friend Alberto Santos-Dumont, who often complained that he needed a legible watch which he could wear on the wrist due to his need for the use of both hands whilst flying. Cartier then designed the original Santos to be not only elegant and functional, but above all legible; hence succeeding in creating the first wristwatch for men. 

This version of the Santos, reference WSSA0030 comes set in a contemporary 39.8mm stainless steel curved case, which is 9.38mm thick giving it a slim profile on the wrist. The bezel is crafted from polished stainless steel and features the iconic Santos screws. The blue sunburst dial features Roman numeral hour indexes, train-track minute markers, polished sword hands and a date feature at 6 o’clock. These details are protected by a convex sapphire crystal glass and the crown is embellished with a blue spinel cabochon. It comes fitted on a matching brushed stainless steel bracelet complete with polished screws, concealed butterfly clasp and ‘quick-switch' bracelet system. It is powered by the in-house automatic self-winding movement; protected by an 8 screw caseback for water resistance of up to 10atm (100m/330ft).

Originally purchased in March 2019 and in mint condition, this Santos comes with its original inner & outer boxes, Cartier booklet, additional Blue leather strap with stainless steel deployment clasp.
