We are proud to present this iconic Cartier Santos de Cartier, 2025, reference WSSA0071, offered in mint condition and fully checked in our workshop.

First created in 1904 for the pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos holds a unique place in horological history as one of the first purpose-designed wristwatches. Its square case, exposed bezel screws and clean Roman dial were revolutionary at the time, and remain unmistakable today. More than a century later, the Santos continues to balance engineering precision with Parisian elegance.

This Large model is housed in a 39.8mm stainless steel case, measuring just 9.38mm thick, giving it a refined yet contemporary presence on the wrist. The polished bezel is secured with the signature Santos screws, framing a striking blue sunburst dial with black Roman numerals, train-track minute markers and polished sword-shaped hands. A discreet date aperture sits at 6 o’clock, maintaining symmetry. The dial is protected by a convex sapphire crystal, while the crown is set with Cartier’s signature blue spinel cabochon.

Powering the watch is the in-house Cartier calibre 1847 MC automatic movement, secured by an 8-screw caseback and offering water resistance to 100 metres (10 bar). The watch is fitted to a brushed stainless steel bracelet with polished screws, featuring Cartier’s “SmartLink” adjustment system and “QuickSwitch” strap interchangeability. An additional blue leather Cartier strap is also included for versatility.

Originally purchased in March 2025 and presented in mint, as new, condition, this Santos is supplied with its inner and outer Cartier presentation boxes, warranty card, booklet and adjustment tool, along with the additional blue leather strap.
