We are proud to present this iconic Cartier Santos-Dumont Extra-Large, reference WSSA0032, for sale in mint condition.

Few watches carry the design legacy of the Cartier Santos. Created in 1904 by Louis Cartier for the pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, it is regarded as one of the earliest purpose-designed wristwatches, born from the practical need to read the time while flying. Its exposed screws, square case, softened angles and elegant Roman numeral dial have since become signatures of one of Cartier’s most enduring collections.

This Santos-Dumont Extra-Large, reference WSSA0032, is housed in a 46.6mm x 33.9mm stainless steel case with a slim profile of just 7.5mm, giving it a refined presence on the wrist. The silver satin-finish dial with sunray effect is detailed with classic black Roman numerals, a chemin-de-fer minute track and blued steel sword hands, all protected by a sapphire crystal. Powering the watch is the Cartier calibre 430 MC, a manufacture manual-winding mechanical movement, with the watch completed by a black alligator leather strap and steel ardillon buckle.

Originally purchased in June 2022, this watch is offered in mint condition and comes supplied with its inner and outer boxes, booklets, warranty card and a receipt for Cartier service dated September 2024.
