We are proud to present this iconic 18ct Yellow Gold Cartier Santos Galbee for sale in mint condition.

Some may not know this, but the Santos was the first collection ever produced by Mr Louis Cartier in 1904 (13 years before the Tank!). Stemming from his relationship with his aviator friend Alberto Santos-Dumont, who often complained that he needed a legible watch which he could wear on the wrist due to his need for the use of both hands whilst flying. Cartier then designed the original Santos to be not only elegant and functional, but above all legible; hence succeeding in creating the first wristwatch for men. 

This is a very special version of the famed Santos, as denoted by the many opulent features that it is embellished with. Coming set in an 18ct yellow gold 29mm x 41mm case adorned with a factory diamond set bezel completed with the iconic exposed screws which are synonymous with the Santos. The minimalist brushed champagne dial further distinguishes this watch out of the ordinary, with the usual 'swiss' designation  replaced by the rarely seen 'Paris' signature, often reserved for their most outstanding pieces. This dial is completed with contrasting blued sword hands and a date aperture at 3 o'clock, as well as being protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass. It comes fitted with a diamond cabachon crown and a full 18ct yellow gold bracelet complete with diamond set end links. Lastly, the watch is powered by a Cartier automatic movement which is protected by a solid caseback secured with 8 screws. 

Originally produced in the 1980's and in mint condition for its age, this Cartier is sold with an original Cartier box, Cartier cleaning kit and July 2023 Cartier service documentation. This watch benefits from the coverage of its Cartier service warranty until July 2025.
