Cartier Santos Galbee Ladies, 1567

We are proud to present this stylish Cartier Santos Galbee ladies for sale.

Some may not know this, but the Santos was the first collection ever produced by Mr Louis Cartier in 1904 (13 years before the Tank!). Stemming from his relationship with his aviator friend Alberto Santos-Dumont, who often complained about the legibility of his other watches. Cartier designed the original Santos to be elegant, functional, but above all legible and he certainly achieved that.

This version is set in a brushed 24 x 35mm stainless steel case with the iconic smooth polished bezel with 8 screws in 18ct yellow gold, which were modelled on old airplane window panels. It has a clean cream coloured dial with full black printed Roman numerals and blue steel hands with the iconic sapphire cabochon crown. It is fitted on a matching stainless steel bracelet with yellow gold screws and features a concealed clasp with the Cartier Galbee insignia. It is powered by a Cartier quartz movement, and protected by an 8 screw case back for water resistance of 3atm (30m/100ft).

Originally purchased in May 1999 and in mint condition for its age, coming supplied with its original Cartier inner & outer box, instruction booklet, service centre booklet, red Cartier booklet holder and international warranty booklet.
