We are proud to present this iconic Cartier Santos Galbée Mid-Size for sale in mint condition. 

First created in 1904 as a bespoke timepiece for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos represents a convergence of elegance, innovation, and functionality. Its distinctive square case with exposed screws, a revolutionary departure from the traditional round watches of its time, marked a paradigm shift in watchmaking aesthetics. Since its inception, the Cartier Santos has evolved while staying true to its heritage, becoming an enduring symbol of sophistication and refinement cherished by connoisseurs and trendsetters alike.

This iteration of the Santos, reference W20011C4 comes set in a brushed 29mm stainless steel case with the iconic 18ct yellow gold smooth polished bezel with 8 exposed stainless steel screws, modelled on old airplane window panels. Its clean cream coloured dial features with black printed Roman numerals and blue steel hands, with the classic date aperture at 6 o'clock. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass and powered by a reliable quartz calibre 687 movement. Its basic 3atm (30m/100ft) water resistance is ensured by a pull/push crown embellished with a blue spinel cabochon. Lastly, this Santos is completed by a matching stainless steel bracelet with polished yellow gold screws and foldover butterfly clasp. 

Originally sold in December 2003 and in mint condition, supplied with its original inner box, red document holder, instruction booklet and guarantee certificate booklet.
