In 1989 the watchmakers at the Cartier workshop in the USA went about remodelling the original Cartier Tank for American audiences, the new watch features an elongated case with a more pronounced curve than the original model. It playfully updates the geometry of the lines, retaining the rectangular form while alternating between round edges and angles. 

This reference, the W26019L1 is a beautiful and elegantly crafted ladies timepiece from Cartier which comes set in a polished 19mm x 34.5mm solid 18ct white gold rectangular case. The dial is the classic white/cream colour with printed black lacquered Roman numeral hour markers, blue-steel hands and a date aperture at 6 o’clock. The watch features a flat curved sapphire crystal glass, is powered by a quartz mechanism and comes fitted with a matching solid 18ct yellow gold link bracelet with a concealed dual folding clasp.

Originally purchased in April 2004 and is in mint condition for its age, this Tank Américaine comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet, previous service documents (2021 / 2023) and international warranty booklet. This Tank benefits from the coverage of its service warranty until September 2025.
