Designed by Louis Cartier in 1916, the legendary Tank watch is an icon of modern watchmaking and has for more than a century remained faithful to the original concept.

This Cartier Tank Francaise reference WE1017R8 comes set in a luxurious 25mm x 30mm brushed/polished solid 18ct yellow gold case, which is set with 82 round brilliant diamonds in the shoulders. The dial is original and is a lovely matte cream colour with black gloss roman numeral hour markers, blue steel hands, date feature at 3 o’clock and a crown set with a diamond. Powered by a Cartier quartz mechanism and fitted on a matching polished 18ct yellow gold bracelet with a concealed dual folding clasp.

Originally purchased in September 2003 and in mint condition, this Tank Francaise comes supplied with the original inner & outer boxes, instruction manual, guarantee booklet and previous service paperwork and insurance valuation from Cartier, New Bond Street.
