We are proud to present this exceptionally rare Cartier Tortue XL Décor Jaguar for sale in mint condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop. Originally retailing at £69,500.

Cartier's Cartier d'Art collection represents the Maison's enduring commitment to the artistic crafts, bringing together traditional engraving, enamelling and fine watchmaking. The Tortue provides an especially distinctive canvas for this work, its elongated tonneau profile allowing Cartier's artisans to create exceptional sculptural compositions across the case and dial.

To create this particular, stunning, dial it took artisans 60 hours of engraving and assembly, and 25 hours of difficult and delicate champlevé grand feu enamel work.

This exceptional example, reference HPI00412, is one of just 80 pieces produced and dates from 2011.

Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the tonneau-shaped case is extensively hand-engraved and features a remarkable high-relief jaguar motif extending across the case and dial. The 18ct yellow gold dial is hand-engraved in relief and finished using champlevé grand feu enamelling, with multiple enamel tones creating depth and definition throughout the composition. The octagonal 18ct yellow gold crown is set with a sapphire, while the dial is protected by sapphire crystal. At its heart beats the Cartier manufacture calibre 9601 MC, a manually wound mechanical movement. The watch is completed by a semi-matt black alligator leather strap with an adjustable 18ct yellow gold folding clasp.

Originally purchased in June 2011 and presented in mint condition, this Cartier Tortue XL Décor Jaguar is supplied with its original Cartier box, guarantee booklet and a individual Cartier signed limited edition certificate no (xx/80) all the watches made were pre sold on release.

We cannot find this watch on any of the major watch auction sites as none have come up for sale.

We purchased this watch off the original owner and it was hardly worn and kept mainly in its box/safe for the last 15 years.
