This remarkable timepiece exemplifies Grand Seiko’s unwavering commitment to precision watchmaking, combining distinctive Japanese craftsmanship with advanced mechanical innovation. At its heart beats the automatic Calibre 9S66 movement, manufactured entirely in-house by Grand Seiko and renowned for its exceptional precision, reliability and refined performance. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours while incorporating an independently adjustable 24-hour GMT hand, allowing the simultaneous display of a second time zone with outstanding practicality for international travel.

The Grand Seiko SBGM235 was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Grand Seiko 9S mechanical calibre. Issued as a special limited edition, the watch showcases the brand’s dedication to traditional Japanese craftsmanship while highlighting two decades of continuous mechanical innovation. Its beautifully executed design combines elegant proportions, meticulous finishing and the versatile GMT complication, resulting in a refined timepiece that perfectly balances everyday wearability with Grand Seiko’s renowned technical excellence.

The finely finished stainless steel case measures 39.5mm and features Grand Seiko’s incredible case finishing and sharply defined case lines. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap, ensuring both exceptional comfort and style. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, while the robust case construction provides water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.

Originally purchased in November 2018 and presented in mint condition. Supplied with its original Grand Seiko inner and outer boxes, instructional booklet, original guarantee, movement certification documentation, original swing tags and a spare new white leather strap.
