Heuer Vintage Autavia Mark 2, 7763C

We are proud to present the iconic Heuer Vintage Autavia Mark 2 watch for sale.

An exceptionally well thought of timepiece from around 1960`s that has become a premium model for vintage Heuer collectors, presented in Fine condition considering its age. Taking design inspiration from the golden age of motor sport, the name Autavia itself is a combination of the words Automobile and Aviation. 

This example is the second generation of the Autavia and is set in an unpolished 40mm steel case with a crisp ‘Tachymeter’ bezel (there were multiple bezel options for the Autavia models) that is bi-rotational. The dial is black and has printed minute/split-second markers around the outside for precision timing, as indicated by the bold red hand, as well as the 2 white contrasting sub-dials for measuring up to 60 minutes. Fitted with domed acrylic plexiglass and powered by the classic Valjoux 7730 manual wind mechanism the watch comes on a new black ‘racing’ perforated leather strap with a steel pin buckle.

Produced in the years between 1968 and 1969 the watch is in fine, unpolished collectors condition considering its age.
