The Mark series of watches were designed in accordance with military specifications and nowadays have reached a cult status that few wristwatches attain. IWC’s first proper purpose-built pilots watch was produced in 1936 and followed up nearly a decade later with the MOD commissioned Mark X (the official start of the Mark series). The watch adhered to specific military requirements in terms of robustness and dial layout. That simplistic, legible layout has become a staple of the entire range subsequently and is what has ensured the longevity of the whole collection by appealing to many aviation/military enthusiasts.

This version the Mark XX was first released in 2022 and is a captivating 3 hand tool watch with utilitarian design queues. It comes set in a 40mm stainless steel case and features a stunning green sunburst dial with a date aperture at 3 o'clock, luminous hands and full Arab numerals. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides. The watch is powered by the automatic IWC calibre 32111 which boasts 120 hour of power reserve and is protected by a closed caseback. The watch comes fitted on a stainless steel bracelet and foldover micro-adjustment clasp.

Originally purchased in September 2023 and in mint condition with some minor wear present on the caseback, this IWC comes supplied its original inner & outer boxes, instruction manual, Easx-Change booklet, IWC polishing cloth, original order confirmation and international warranty card.

This Mark XX benefits from being covered under its extended manufacturers warranty until September 2031.
