We are proud to present this stylish IWC Portofino Chronograph for sale.
The origins of the large, minimalistic case design for the Portofino can be traced back to the 1970s, when the Lépine pocket watch became the inspiration for the entire watch family. The “pocket-watch-style wristwatch” was presented in 1984 with the name “Portofino”. Since then, this watch family, with timepieces that retain their value and, above all, remain timeless, has been a permanent part of IWC’s collection.
This version the reference IW391010 was produced from 2011 until 2019 and is set in a polished 42mm stainless steel case with smooth rounded edges for a comfortable fit on the wrist. The black dial conforms to the clean minimalist IWC design and features slim applied silver baton hour markers and matching feuille/leaf hands with cut-out 12/6 Roman numerals. Also, at 3 o’clock are day/date windows for enhanced functionality. The 9 o’clock sub-dial is your running second hand, whilst the 12/6 larger, silver edged sub-dials record up to 12 hours via the chronograph mechanism. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by the IWC calibre 75320 automatic mechanism, the watch comes fitted on an IWC steel Milanese mesh bracelet with a folding clasp.
Originally purchased in circa December 2016 and in mint condition, this Portofino comes with its original inner box, instruction booklet, cleaning cloth and international warranty card (undated).
