Since its introduction in 1939, the Portugieser has stood as a benchmark of elegance, precision, and maritime-inspired craftsmanship. Originally created for Portuguese navigators who required the accuracy of marine chronometers, the collection has evolved over more than eight decades into a symbol of refined watchmaking. This reference, IW371616, is housed in a beautifully polished 41mm stainless steel case, paired with a smooth matching bezel for a harmonious, elevated profile on the wrist. The standout feature is its striking red sunburst dial, a radiant display of colour and depth, complete with applied polished Arabic numerals, elegant leaf-shaped hands, and the signature twin sub-dials at 12 and 6 o’clock for the running seconds and 30-minute chronograph counter.
