We are proud to present this stylish IWC Portuguese 40 watch for sale.

Since the birth of the Portuguese in 1939, the watch has become the definition of the IWC brand. It broke the mold of the traditional wristwatch by using a hunter-pocketwatch movement (due to the crown position) to create something classic but within the larger case, which today we think of as a normal sized wristwatch. Over 80 years later the model is still an integral part of the brand having achieved iconic status as the epitome of German style and luxury.

This version of the Portuguese, reference IW358305 comes set in a 40.4mm stainless steel case with smooth polished bezel. The blue sunburst dial features a running seconds sub-dial, contrasting white minute bannering bannering, polished Arab numeral indexes, matching hands and protected by a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 82200 movement which is visible through the exhibition caseback. Completed by a black alligator strap fitted with an IWC butterfly deployment clasp. 

This watch was originally bought in August 2020 and comes supplied in mint condition, with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, warranty booklet, IWC polishing cloth and international warranty card. This IWC's warranty has been extended and benefits from its coverage until August 2028.
