The Master collection is the expression of a watchmaking tradition that has been meticulously refined by Jaeger‑LeCoultre. Minimalistic Master models combine a classic appearance and technical features that demonstrate the reliability of the movements developed by Jaeger. To celebrate its 25 anniversary of the Master collection Jaeger introduced three special edition watches which all have a vintage-inspired ‘sector’ themed two-tone dial with blue accents.

Originally launched in 2017 this reference Q1428530 is set in a sleek polished 39mm stainless steel round case with a smooth polished bezel. As mentioned above, the dial features a two-tone silver finish with a black inner sector indicating hours with quarter Arabic numerals and the outer blue sector indicating minutes. The hands are transparent syringe-style, so the dial is as legible as possible. At 6 o’clock there is a sub dial for the second time zone along with a lager city aperture. It comes fitted with a sapphire crystal glass and is powered by the Jaeger calibre 939B/1 automatic movement, which is visible through an exhibition caseback and comes on a matching blue alligator leather strap with a steel JLC pin buckle.

Originally purchased in July 2020 and in unworn condition, this Jaeger comes with its original inner and outer boxes, operating instructions and its warranty card. It is under Jaeger’s manufacturers warrant until July 2022, but that is extendable by another 6 years with Jaeger.
