Omega Constellation Linen Dial 18ct Yellow Gold, 168.5009

We are proud to present this opulent vintage Omega Constellation for sale in mint condition. 

Introduced in 1952, the Omega Constellation collection began as a series of chronometers designed for men but has evolved through numerous aesthetic transformations over the decades. From the distinctive pie-pan dials of the 1950s to the sleek, ultra-thin quartz models of the 1970s, each era brought fresh design innovations. In 1982, the now-iconic "Griffes" or "claws" at 3 and 9 o'clock were introduced, quickly becoming a signature feature of the collection. Available in a range of materials, including stainless steel, gold, and ceramic, the Constellation seamlessly blends elegance with precision, making it a beloved choice for watch enthusiasts worldwide.

This luxurious iteration of the Constellation, reference 168.5009 comes set in an 18ct yellow gold35mm 'C' style case, fitted with a raised matching bezel. Its gold linen textured dial features applied 18ct yellow gold applied hour markers and matching hands with the minute and hour hands in back, as well as the classic date aperture at 3 o'clock. These details are protected by a domed plexi crystal and powered by the automatic calibre 564 chronometer movement. Lastly, the watch is completed by a black leather strap with a matching (generic) pin buckle clasp. 

Originally sold in September 1968 and in mint condition for its age apart from a few scratches present on the caseback. Supplied with an Omega service box, original red plastic certificate holder, Omega car booklet, chronometer certificate and original international warranty booklet.
