The Omega De Ville, introduced in 1967, represents a distinct departure from Omega's sportier lines, emphasizing elegance and sophistication. Originally conceived as a range within the Seamaster series, the De Ville evolved into an independent collection, showcasing Omega's commitment to refined design and precision. Over the years, the De Ville has been a canvas for innovation, featuring various movements, including the Co-Axial escapement developed by George Daniels. This version of the De Ville, reference 424.10.40.20.02.004, comes set in a 39.5mm polished stainless steel case with matching smooth polished bezel. The white opaline dial features a woven silk texture as well as a blend of applied 18ct rose gold Roman numeral and stud indexes with matching hands. The dial is completed by a date aperture at 3 o'clock and safeguarded by a flat sapphire crystal. Powering the watch is the automatic calibre 2500 chronometer movement, which is safe behind a closed caseback engraved with a medallion of the Greek God of time Chronos. Lastly, the watch is completed by a polished stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.

Originally sold in June 2018 and in mint condition, supplied as a full set with its original Omega inner and outer boxes, swing tag, instruction booklet, pictogram card and original international warranty card.
