That inaugural Seamaster laid the foundation for one of Omega’s most enduring collections, blending durability with refined aesthetics. For the London 2012 Olympic Games, Omega paid tribute to its heritage by releasing this special limited edition, restricted to just 1,948 pieces, honouring both the birth year of the Seamaster and the city’s Olympic legacy.

This commemorative edition beautifully merges vintage inspiration with modern watchmaking. The solid caseback is adorned with an 18ct yellow gold medallion, embossed with the official London 2012 Olympic emblem, a subtle yet powerful reminder of Omega’s long-standing role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games.

The watch is presented in a refined 39mm stainless steel case with a polished bezel and period-correct Omega logo on the crown. The silver opaline dial features applied white gold hour markers, Arabic numerals at the quarters, elegant leaf hands, and a blued-steel small seconds hand within the sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is the Omega calibre 2202, a chronometer-certified Co-Axial automatic movement renowned for its precision and reliability.
