The Omega Seamaster 300 released in 1957 was, in the words of an advertisement for the watch, “specially designed for professional and amateur divers.” Its water resistance was guaranteed to a depth of 200 metres. The watch was known as the 300 because its performance was far beyond the capacities of the testing devices of the time, a result of the high resistance of the crystal and the crown. The Omega 300’s rotating bezel made it possible for divers to keep track of the exact time of the duration of their dives.

This version the reference 233.32.41.21.01.002 was released in 2015 and comes in a polished 41mm stainless steel case with a black ceramic uni-rotational bezel. The dial is a sand-blasted black colour and features cut-out triangle hour markers filled with special ‘aged’ Superluminova luminous, contrasting white quarter Arabic numerals and hands edged in rhodium to prevent tarnishing. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and water resistant up to 300M with a screw-down crown. The watch is powered by the Omega calibre 8400 Master Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement, which is also visible through an exhibition caseback. The watch comes fitted on a brown Omega calf leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.

Originally purchased in September 2020 and in mint condition, this Seamaster is supplied with its original Omega inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, leather card holder, pictogram and international warranty cards. This Omega is under a 5-year warranty until September 2025.
