Created to celebrate the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, this special edition Bullhead is one of Omega’s most unconventional and instantly recognisable modern chronographs. Limited to just 316 pieces, it pays tribute to the Olympic spirit through a vibrant design language inspired by the colours of the five Olympic rings, while also reviving one of Omega’s most characterful case shapes.

The Bullhead name comes from its unusual case layout, with the chronograph pushers and winding crown positioned at the top of the case rather than on the side. This gives the watch its unmistakable silhouette and reinforces its status as one of the more collectible and unusual pieces within the Seamaster family.

This reference features a 43mm stainless steel Bullhead case and a crisp white dial with two chronograph sub-dials, a striking red central chronograph hand, and colourful detailing inspired by the Rio Games. In keeping with the Bullhead design, the watch has two crowns: the upper crown is used to set the time and date, while the crown at the side operates the internal rotating bezel. The watch is fitted on a sporty blue leather strap with multicolour stitching, perfectly complementing the playful yet highly technical character of the piece.

Originally purchased in June 2016, this example is supplied in mint condition with its inner and outer Omega presentation boxes, noting that the inner box shows some deterioration to the leather, along with its international warranty card, pictogram card, white leather card holder and operating instruction booklet.

A highly unusual and limited Omega that combines Olympic history, bold design, and true collector appeal.
