The Omega Seamaster 300 released in 1957 was, in the words of an advertisement for the watch, “specially designed for professional and amateur divers.” Its water resistance was guaranteed to a depth of 200 metres. The watch was known as the 300 because its performance was far beyond the capacities of the testing devices of the time, a result of the high resistance of the crystal and the crown. The Omega 300’s rotating bezel made it possible for divers to keep track of the exact time of the duration of their dives.

This version, the reference 210.92.44.20.01.003 released in 2021 comes in the contemporary 43.5mm solid black ceramic case with matte uni-rotational dive bezel. The dial is a matching black ceramic and features the classic ‘wave’ textured pattern, Superluminova hour markers and matching hand tips. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and fitted with a screw-down crown and conical helium release valve allowing for a water resistance of 30atm (300m/1000ft). The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 8806 Master Chronometer movement, which can be viewed through an exhibition caseback. The watch comes fitted on a matching black rubber strap with black ceramic buckle.

Originally purchased in January 2023 and in like new condition, supplied with its original Omega inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, swing tag, leather card holder, pictogram, master chronometer and international warranty cards. This Omega is under warranty until January 2028.
