Since its debut in 1948, this distinguished collection has not only adorned the wrists of discerning individuals but has also accompanied explorers and adventurers into the depths of the ocean. This version of the Seamaster, reference 2254.50.00, comes in the classic 41mm stainless steel case fitted with a black uni-rotational dive bezel. The matching black dial features the classic embossed ‘wave’ pattern, luminous hour indexes and matching luminous sword hands, as well as the date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and fitted with a screw-down crown and helium release valve, ensuring water resistance of 30atm (300m/1000ft). The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 1120 chronometer movement which is protected by a solid screwdown caseback featuring the hippocampus logo. Lastly, the watch is completed by the classic brushed/polished stainless steel bracelet with folding dive extension clasp. 

Originally purchased in October 2000 and in fine condition due to wear on the bezel insert and bracelet, supplied as a full set with its original inner and outer boxes (this generation of inner box is very prone to deterioration, with the red coating starting to come off in several places), instruction booklet, swing tag, service centre booklet, red leatherette, chronometer certificate and international warranty cards.
