The Omega Seamaster 300 released in 1957 was, in the words of an advertisement for the watch, “specially designed for professional and amateur divers.” Its water resistance was guaranteed to a depth of 200 metres. The watch was known as the 300 because its performance was far beyond the capacities of the testing devices of the time, a result of the high resistance of the crystal and the crown. The Omega 300’s rotating bezel made it possible for divers to keep track of the exact time of the duration of their dives.

This version the reference 210.30.42.20.03.001 released in 2018 comes in the classic 42mm stainless steel case with blue ceramic uni-rotational bezel. The dial is also blue and features the classic ‘wave’ textured pattern, Superluminova hour markers and hand tips and the date feature at 6 o’clock. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and water resistant up to 300M with a screw-down crown and conical helium release valve. The watch is powered by the Omega calibre 8800 Co-Axial movement, which is also visible through an exhibition caseback. The watch comes fitted on a matching stainless steel brushed/polished bracelet.

Originally purchased in January 2020 and in mint condition, supplied with its original Omega inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, swing tag, leather card holder, pictogram, master chronometer and international warranty cards.
