Released to celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, this striking edition captures the vibrant energy of the host city with refined, sport-inspired elegance. Limited to just 3,016 pieces, the watch is housed in a robust 41mm stainless steel case with a polished and brushed finish, paired with a bold blue ceramic bezel engraved with a colorful lacquered diving scale, echoing the hues of the Olympic rings. The black lacquered dial is adorned with a rhythmic wave pattern symbolizing Rio’s iconic Copacabana sidewalks, with polished indexes and hands filled with Super-LumiNova for optimal visibility. A domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down crown and helium escape valve ensure its 30atm (300m/1000ft) water resistance. Powering the timepiece is the reliable Omega Co-Axial calibre 2500, a COSC-certified chronometer movement.
