Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 'Ed White', ST 105.003-65

We are proud to present this 1965 Omega Speedmaster, reference ST 105.003-65, better known to collectors as the iconic "Ed White" Speedmaster.

The reference ST 105.003 occupies a significant place in both Omega and space exploration history. Named after astronaut Ed White, who wore his Speedmaster during America's first spacewalk on the Gemini IV mission in June 1965, this reference represents one of the most historically important iterations of the Speedmaster lineage. As one of the final straight-lug Speedmaster references produced before the introduction of the asymmetrical Professional case, the ST 105.003 remains highly sought after among discerning collectors and enthusiasts.

A beautiful and increasingly scarce vintage Omega Speedmaster, powered by the legendary Calibre 321 manual-winding chronograph movement. Developed through the celebrated collaboration between Omega and Lemania, the Calibre 321 is widely regarded as one of the finest chronograph movements ever produced and has served as the foundation for movements used by esteemed manufactures including Breguet and Vacheron Constantin. The watch features its original black dial with three recessed subsidiary registers, applied baton hour markers and hands, housed within a stainless steel straight-lug case and complemented by a black tachymeter bezel that has acquired an attractive patina through decades of careful wear.

Dated from 1965 this Omega is possibly the best example of vintage Speedmaster that we have ever purchased. The crown, pushers, bezel edge and even the bracelet are immaculate, one owner watch, well loved and rarely worn. Beautiful patina on the hour markers, golden in colour.

The watch is supplied with its original Omega presentation box and fitted to its correct Omega reference 1035 flat-link bracelet complete with desirable No. 6 end links.
