This limited edition Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII” commemorates the 40th anniversary of the final lunar mission in December 1972, the last time man stepped foot on the moon. The watch showcases a distinctive 925 silver dial meticulously embossed with the Apollo XVII patch design, paying homage to this historic event. Its dial features a small seconds sub-dial, a 30-minute recorder, and a 12-hour recorder, complemented by a central chronograph hand. The 42 mm stainless steel case incorporates a black aluminium tachymeter scale bezel insert, coupled with a stainless steel bracelet and folding clasp. Driven by manually wound calibre 1861 movement, safeguarded by a closed commemorative caseback which also ensures a water resistance of 5atm (50m/165ft). Limited to just 1,972 pieces, this "Apollo XVII" Speedmaster embodies exclusivity, making it a coveted choice for enthusiasts seeking a rare and commemorative timekeeping experience.

This watch was originally sold in May 2014 and comes supplied in mint condition, with both its original inner & outer boxes, pictogram card, limited edition certificate, swing tag, instruction booklet and original international warranty card.
