With the Speedmaster, Omega has in its collection one of the most iconic watches in history. However, keeping an eye on the future, they have introduced subsequent collections within the Speedmaster range fitted with their in-house coloured ceramic cases; Dark (black), Grey and White sides of the moon respectively. Whilst also giving them more modern components such as automatic Co-Axial chronograph movements and fitting them with sapphire crystal glasses.

This version the Dark Side of the Moon, reference 311.92.44.51.01.005 was launched in 2013 and comes set in a 44.25mm black ceramic case with a matching black ceramic tachymetre bezel. The dial is also constructed out of black ceramic and has colour matched minute markers, hands and baton hour markers. The dial is finished off with the date feature at 6 o’clock and has twin sub-dials with a running second hand and two chronograph timing hands for up to 12 hours. The watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal glass and is powered by the automatic calibre 9300 chronograph mechanism, which can be viewed through the exhibition caseback. It comes fitted on a black nylon strap with matching black ceramic pin buckle clasp.

Originally purchased in April 2022 and in mint condition. Coming supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, Omega pouch, instruction booklet, black card holder, pictogram and international warranty cards.

This Speedmaster benefits from coverage of its Omega service warranty until April 2027.
