We are proud to present this highly collectable Omega Speedmaster ‘Ed White’ Vintage, reference ST105.003, for sale in fine condition for its age.

The Omega Speedmaster is one of the most iconic chronographs ever created, celebrated for its role in space exploration and its enduring place in horological history. While the model would later achieve worldwide fame as the “Moonwatch,” the earlier pre-1969 references have become especially prized by collectors. Among them, the ST105.003 holds a special place, nicknamed the “Ed White” after astronaut Edward Higgins White, who wore the reference during the Gemini 4 mission and became the first American astronaut to walk in space.

This example features the classic 40mm stainless steel case with its distinctive straight lugs, making it the last Speedmaster generation to retain this pure early-case design. It is fitted with a fixed black tachymetre bezel and an original black dial featuring the applied Omega logo, contrasting white minute markers, aged luminous baton hour markers, and the classic tri-compax chronograph layout with sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The dial is protected by an Omega plexi crystal, preserving the correct vintage character of the watch.

Powering the watch is the legendary Omega calibre 321, a manual-winding chronograph movement revered for both its beauty and historical significance. The movement is protected by a solid caseback featuring the Hippocampus logo, and the watch is completed by its stainless steel flat-link bracelet with classic Omega fold-over clasp.

Originally produced in 1967 and offered here in fine condition for its age, this Speedmaster is supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, an original Gemini 4 – James McDivitt – Edward White NASA space mission patch, and an Omega Extract from the Archives.
