Originally introduced in 1957, the Omega Speedmaster has become one of the most celebrated chronographs in horological history. Famously selected by NASA for all manned space missions and worn during the first lunar landing in 1969, the Speedmaster Professional has earned its place as the definitive Moonwatch. Renowned for its robust construction, exceptional legibility and reliable chronograph performance, the Speedmaster remains one of the most enduring and recognisable tool watches ever produced, seamlessly combining heritage, precision and timeless design. 

This iteration of the Speedmaster Professional, reference 3590.50.00, was produced from 1989 and is housed in a 42mm stainless steel case fitted with the iconic black aluminium tachymeter bezel. The classic black dial features tritium luminous hour markers and baton hands, complemented by the traditional tri-compax chronograph layout consisting of a 30-minute recorder, 12-hour recorder and constant running seconds. Protected by the characteristic hesalite crystal, the watch is powered by the legendary Omega calibre 861 manual-winding chronograph movement, renowned for its robustness and reliability. The screw-in caseback ensures a water resistance of 5atm (50m/167ft), while the watch is completed by its stainless steel bracelet secured with a folding clasp. 

Originally purchased in December 1996 and presented in fine condition, this Speedmaster Professional is supplied with its Omega presentation box and outer sleeves, warranty card and original instruction booklets.
