Renowned as the "Moonwatch," the Speedmaster achieved global fame for being the first watch worn on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. This version the ST145.022 was produced from 1968 until 1988, making it the longest running version of the Speedmaster and a testament to the quality and longevity of the watch. It comes set in a 42mm stainless steel case with classic ‘twisted’ lugs and has its original fixed black tachymetre bezel. The dial features the printed Omega logo and is a clean black finish with contrasting white minute/split second markers and creamy aged luminous baton hour markers. White sword hands and sub dials at 3/6/9 complete the dial, which is protected by a domed plexi crystal. Powered by the iconic Omega calibre 861 manual chronograph mechanism and fitted on its matching stainless steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp.

Originally produced in October 1989 and mint condition considering its age, this Speedmaster comes with its original Omega inner box, instruction booklet, Service documentation (Luxury Watch Repairs, July 2024) and its original international warranty booklet. 

It has also been serviced in February 2020 and is in good working order.
