Since its introduction in 1957, the Omega Speedmaster Chronograph has been characterized by its precision timing and clean, legible dial. Chronographs were originally built and advertised as tools for engineers, technicians, doctors and athletes – a way of keeping seconds, much like a stopwatch – which made them less appealing as men’s casual wear. However, these qualities made the Speedmaster the perfect watch for marking some of mankind’s greatest achievements – including the first successful trip to the Moon.

This Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonphase” Chronograph features a stainless steel 42mm case, black tachymeter bezel and sapphire crystal glass on both the front and back of the watch. the black dial is graced by a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The fourth sub-dial located at the 12’clock position, carries both the moonphase and date indicators. 

Originally purchased in November 2016 and in mint condition, this Speedmaster comes with its original Omega inner & outer box, swing tag, leather card holder, pictogram, chronometer and international warranty cards. This Speedmaster is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
